Summary: The present invention relates to an ultrasonic assisted magnetic abrasive flow machining process and a device therefor. The ultrasonic and rotating magnetic field assistance has been used with the conventional abrasive flow machining process. Applied external assistances resulted in increased finishing forces, an improved path length of abrasive over the work surface, and enhanced active abrasive density. The overall effect of the developed variant results in more amount of material removal and better surface integrity than conventional abrasive flow machining.
